Join us for a guided sustainability tour of Gain City’s Sungei Kadut megastore, where you will get an inside look at the company’s environmental initiatives and operations. Founded in 1981, Gain City has been committed to enhancing customers’ lifestyles while championing environmental sustainability through a range of initiatives. In support of national efforts, recycling bins have been placed across all showrooms, alongside active participation in responsible e-waste disposal. As one of only two designated air-conditioner recyclers under the National Environment Agency’s (NEA) Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) scheme, Gain City adopts an environmentally responsible recycling process, recovering over 90% of components such as copper, aluminium, iron, plastics, and refrigerant gases for reuse. During the tour, participants will explore these efforts firsthand, along with other green initiatives at the megastore, including a food waste processor, solar energy systems, and composting practices. Participants will gain valuable insights into sustainable operations and be inspired to play a part in building a greener and more sustainable future.
