Youth Sustainability Film Programme - Road to Zero
Youth Sustainability Film Programme - Road to Zero combines storytelling and education to engage the public to think more about the environment and encourage youth advocacy towards environmental sustainability in Singapore.
NEA partnered local storyteller platform Viddsee to support young filmmakers in the creation of meaningful short films, centred around the Zero Waste theme.
Submissions opened on 22 April 2022 and closed on 21 May 2022. View the call for film ideas below:
From the many entries submitted, 3 young filmmakers were shortlisted, and supported with funding, mentorship from experienced local filmmakers, and guidance from the Viddsee Studios team, to produce their short films. Their teams were also brought on learning journeys, to understand more about sustainability efforts in Singapore, from industry partners.
The completed films were screened for the first time at a premiere event on 22nd November 2022, and are now available on Viddsee and Clean & Green Singapore’s social media channels.
